I love adding hidden words to the inner book spine. I like to believe it gives a certain energy to the journals that leave the Lotus Blu Bindery in hopes that they will set the tone for whatever they are to be filled with.
My hope for this journal is that it will be a harbinger of colour in the life of its beholder.

170 sheets, 340 pages of 130 gsm recycled hemp fibre paper, hand-burnished.
Inside the journal is lined with beautiful screen printed endpapers featuring a forest of birds.
Hand sewn endbands.
Repurposed leather spine.
Tied with indigo-dyed ribbon with a Turkish Nazar glass bead, a good luck charm and talisman to ward off misfortune.
